Social Accountability
Since the inception of BassDrill, we have consistently demonstrated a strong commitment towards social accountability. We fully support the fundamentals that surround the international standard SA8000: 2008 for Social Accountability. Our Values and Beliefs statement (see link below), first issued on 20-Nov-2007, stated our core values and beliefs. These have been been grouped as follows:
- Safety, Dependability & Accountability
- Honesty, Ethics & Integrity
- Dignity, Respect & Personnel Development
In addition to the above Values & Beliefs, we take our environmental responsibilities very seriously, to the point that we added the word ‘Stewardship’ to our environmental policy statement (see link below). BassDrill has in place an ISO-14001 compliant Environmental Stewardship Management System to ensure that BassDrill honors its commitment to environmental stewardship in all its operations. The environment is something that everyone shares, and it is our obligation to minimize the impact of our operations on the environment.
