BassDrill is a company formed to design, fabricate, operate and manage safe & efficient offshore drilling equipment.

While providing equipment that is specifically intended for the purpose it is used and meets the customers’ needs is our priority, it is only half the story. We firmly believe that even quality hardware requires the right employee and management expertise and vision to back it up and get the job done effectively and reliably. Since the inception of the company in 2007, BassDrill has developed three tender assist designs all of which are ABS class approved. The designs include two barge tender assist designs and one semi tender design. The barge designs are intended for use in benign environments and shallow water (15-200m). The semi tender design is configured for use in more challenging deep water environments in conjunction with floating facilities such as Spars or TLPs.

Presently BassDrill has one tender assist in operation on a term contract which commenced in late 2010. The second unit, a semi tender, is nearing completion and mobilizing in the second half of 2013 to a deep water application in offshore Brazil. A third unit is presently under construction and due for delivery mid-2014.

BassDrill has experienced aggressive growth and is well positioned and resourced to further expand in this specialzed niche market segment. Our growth comes as a result of well-designed vessels and equipment packages along with a strong commitment to personnel safety.
